UK band, Squeeze cancels Virginia concert after worker is crushed to death by tour bus

‎British rock band Squeeze cancelled its scheduled  concert in Virginia after a worker was killed in a tragic incident at the venue before the show. CollectRock Vinyl



‎The music band was due to perform at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia, on Thursday night, September 3, when the incident occurred in the parking lot.



‎According to reports, the worker was crushed to death by a tour bus after a supporting apparatus failed, causing the vehicle to collapse on him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.



‎Squeeze later announced the cancellation of the concert, saying the band was “deeply saddened and shocked” by the incident.



‎“After discussions with the venue and the relevant authorities, the decision was made to cancel this evening’s performance,” the band said.



‎Squeeze added that it would work with the promoter and venue to discuss rescheduling the show and would provide ticketholders with further information.
