Nigerians drag man alleged to be INEC Chairman's son as he congratulates his father days after tweeting that he won't return to Nigeria if Peter Obi wins election
Nigerians have called out a young man said to be the son of INEC Chairman for his tweet on election day.
On Feb. 25, while Nigerians were still voting in various polling units, Naim Mahmood tweeted: "If Peter Obi wins, im not going back to Nigeria."
Then on Wednesday March 1, after INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu announced APC's Bola Tinubu as the winner of the presidential elections, a screenshot purportedly of Naim congratulating his father on a job well done went viral.
Naim's face can be seen on the screenshot of a video call with Mahmood Yakubu and it was posted online with the caption: "Alhamdulilah. A heavy task executed perfectly."
Nigerians trooped to Naim's election day tweet to call him out afterwards and he was forced to make his Twitter account private.
