Warring biker gangs turn Texas restaurant into a bloodbath, 9 people die in shootout

Three rival motorcycle gangs turned an American restaurant- Twin Peaks, into a bloodbath when they opened fire on each other, leaving nine dead. Armed police in Waco, Texas, were in the process of trying to keep the warring factions apart and protect the public when the fight broke out this afternoon.

As the fight escalated from punches and kicks, several men resorted to using knives, chains & clubs.
When it failed to stop several men pulled out guns and began shooting. Terrified customers were reported to have hidden in the freezer as the terrifying scene unfolded.

The local police department wrote on its Facebook page: "Multiple injuries to include multiple fatalities. "Officers were on scene when shooting started. No officers have been injured.”

Police at one point returned fire before the shootings ended. The killings took place at the Twin Peaks restaurant. Many more were left injured, with casualties being taken to nearby hospitals, which were both placed on lock down to prevent violence erupting there.
Trouble had been brewing for several weeks at the eatery with police working with management to try and avoid any problems.

One witness, who asked not to be identified for fear of reprisal, said he had been out having Sunday lunch with his wife and children when the gunfire began.

He said: “It was like the wild west. The violence just spread like wildfire and before you knew it guns were going off. It lasted for what seemed like 15 minutes. There was blood everywhere. It was running into the drains.”
Another diner, Michelle Logan, 37, said: “There were maybe 30 guns being fired in the parking lot, maybe 100 rounds.

There have been only three arrests made so far.
