Ex CBN governor and Emir Of Kano, His Royal Highness, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, is set to take a 4th wife. This is no big deal as their religion and ruling position supports this.
But what many find surprising is the fact that the bride is a 17-year girl, daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa.
Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi’s decision to take a new wife is in line with Islamic injunction which says a maximum of 4 wives for those who can treat all of them equally. His Royal Highness is already married to Sadiya, Maryam and Rakiya.
