Top Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji’s blog has been shut down by Google.
Following intense series of exchanges involving top Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji and a man known simply as @Mr AyeDee in the last one week, the blogger’s blog page – www.lindaikeji.blogspot.com – has been shut down by Google.

Linda, who currently holds the bragging rights to being the number one blog in Nigeria, comfortably sitting at the 10th position on the Alexa ratings log of top websites and blogs in Nigeria, had a petition written against her by @MrAyee, currently who ignited what has become Twitter’s most discussed topic since about the last one week.
Accusing the celebrated Nigerian blogger and former model of plagiarism, copyright infringement and other offences, AyeDee, took the matter to Google. The online search engine giants, sending out a notice to Linda Ikeji that it was investigating the matter, first acted by deleting several posts from her blog, before finally taking it down less than an hour ago.
Before her blogsite was yanked off, Linda Ikeji responded to the plagiarism allegations in a lengthy post, saying she doesn’t plagiarise and sounding a notice that an unspecified number of cyber squatters have acquired all the possible Linda Ikeji domain names on the internet and have been targeting her for years.
A visit to the site reveals: ‘Blog has been removed Sorry, the blog at lindaikeji.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs.’
